The unfamiliar figure had a likeness of a person. Its head shined like 'gold' and its clothing 'white' as snow. Shaken by what I saw, I turned away. When I did, I saw myself peacefully sleeping in my bed.

Suddenly, I began to think about my family and I was overcome with an overwhelming sense of peace.

When I turned to look again, I reached out to the person. When I did, I found myself back in my body. I was physically laying in my bed with my eyes open, as if I had just awaken from a good night sleep.

But it didn't start there...

Several weeks prior to the incident, I became increasing restless. I could not relax. My heart would race up and down as if I was I having a heart attack. I went to the hospital and the doctor performed an EKG. He said there was nothing medically wrong with me. It might be anxiety.

And it didn't stop there...

My restlessness continued for several more days following my hospital visit. Finally, I decided to take a relaxing walk to get my mind off of things. I went to my favorite walking trail, where I frequently walk at least three times a week.

When I began my walk, I was suddenly compiled to walk around the trail 7 times (total distance - 4 miles). It was as if GOD was telling me too. I wanted to stop walking, but something was encouraging me on. When I finally finished walking, I sat down to rest at a location near a public lake.

Suddenly, I begin to cough. On the seventh cough, I felt something go down my throat. It was like I had swallowed a long piece of thread. When it happened; it was as if time stood still. I could see it right before my eyes. I then notice my mouth was in the open position. Then something amazing happened! I saw a dark object depart out of my mouth.

When the dark object left my mouth, I saw it enter into a fish that happen to be near the surface of the lake when it all occurred. I can't give you an earthly explanation as to what happened that day, but for seven years I prayed to Holy God (in Jesus name), to deliver me from my nicotine addiction.

For seven years, I tried going cold turkey. I can remember telling my family that I had quit; but I was lying. It was clear; I willingly became a slave to cigarettes for nearly 17 years.

But no more...

Jehovah Rapha passes my way that day and 'supernaturally' healed me. During the seven years of praying, I had to learn endurance and patience, like a good soldier in Christ. GOD wanted me to experience the Cross, not just know about it.

So in defense...

On October 1, 1987 I accepted God's Gift of Redemption. I acknowledge my place in Christ. I died as Jesus did; I was buried, then resurrected with his HOLY spirit. The old spirit self is replaced. Now I have a relationship with Holy God. ( 2 Corinthians 3:16 )

Through this trial and countless others, God the Father has assured me of my place in heaven.

This is my testimony to the whole world. Jesus Christ is TRUTH. ( Romans 8:37 )
